Helping to keep our community healthy

Hubsplit Health & Safety Guidelines

At Hubsplit, the health and well-being of our community is of utmost importance. As the world navigates through health challenges, we are committed to providing clear guidelines to ensure safety and reduce disease transmission among our users.

Permissible Activities:

  1. Accommodating Mild Illness: If a Host or guest is facing a mild ailment and cannot avoid traveling or hosting, it’s essential to be cautious, especially in shared spaces. Necessary measures should be taken to protect other members.

Activities We Don’t Allow:

  1. Risk of Severe Contagious Diseases: If any individual has been diagnosed, exposed to, or displays symptoms of a contagious disease, they must avoid interactions in the context of a reservation. We may apply temporary restrictions to listings and accounts that pose a contagion risk.
  2. Ignoring Public Health Directives: All Hosts and guests are mandated to adhere to public health guidelines related to infectious diseases, like COVID-19. This includes maintaining social distancing and wearing protective attire when in common areas or around those not in their travel group.
  3. Inadequate Cleaning: Hosts must rigorously follow Hubsplit’s 5-step enhanced cleaning process. Failing to do so can jeopardize the safety of our community.

Your Role in Keeping Our Community Safe:

As global travelers and welcoming hosts, it’s imperative to keep these guidelines in mind. By adhering to these standards, you not only protect yourself but also play a pivotal role in safeguarding the health of our broader community. If you notice any violations or have concerns, please report them to our platform. We are here to support and guide you. Safe travels and happy hosting!
