How do I cancel a rental?

1. Declining a Pending Rental Request (when instant booking is not activated):

  • Navigate to ‘My rentals’ on your Dashboard and choose the ‘booking’ tab.
  • Select the appropriate rental and click ‘Cancel request’.

2. Cancelling a Rental Offer (Fees Apply)

  • Within the Booking tab find you booking.
  • Click on the “Cancel” button

For Renters:

1. Cancelling Your Rental Request:

  • You can handle the cancellation if:
    • You haven’t been verified yet.
    • The Owner hasn’t accepted your request.
    • It’s within 3 hours of making your rental request.
    • It’s been less than 48 hours since the rental request AND is also more than 48 hours before the rental starts.
  • Navigate to the ‘Booking” tab on your Dashboard.
  • Select the relevant rental and click the “Cancel Rental” button.
  • If these conditions don’t apply to you, reach out to info@hubsplit.com, and we’ll assist you.

These procedures ensure that both Renters and Owners can smoothly manage their rentals while ensuring clear communication and minimizing disruptions.

All Cancellations, refunds and at the direction or the owners. MAKE SURE what you are renting is what you want as some owners may opt for a ZERO cancel policy or zero refund.
